| The applicant shall be a member in good standing and may have any level of expertise. | |

Applications can be made at any time of the year. | |
|
Scholarships are monies given to members to learn fibre related skills. | |
|
You must fill in the official application form and forward the application to the Chair of the Scholarship Committee. | |
|
We will announce the successful applicant's name and the course taken in the newsletter and at the General Meeting. | |
|
The committee expects that the grant recipient will
share their workshop experience with the Guild. The committee and the
applicant will decide on the type of service before the committee awards the
grant (the type of service is somewhat dependent on the grant amount). |
|
giving a 'show and tell' presentation | |
|
donating a sample book or reference book to the Guild library | |
|
giving a slide show and lecture | |
|
giving an appropriate workshop | |
|
mentoring other Guild members |
|
Financial need is not a consideration. |
