 | Active Member Active members have all rights and privileges and can vote. Two people with the same mailing address may have two active memberships for 1 1/2 times the cost of a single annual membership, but receive only one copy of each issue of the Guild newsletter. |
| Associate Member Open to residents outside the Greater Victoria area. These members receive newsletters and may attend all general meetings, but cannot vote. They have access to the library but cannot borrow any books. They may attend all Guild workshops (upon payment of the regular workshop fees) provided they do not displace an active member, and may rent Guild equipment to use in workshops. Associate Members pay one-half the Active Membership fee. |
| Student Member Open to all students aged 12 to 18 years inclusive. These members receive newsletters and may attend all general meetings, but cannot vote. They have access to the library but cannot borrow any books. They may attend all Guild workshops (upon payment of the regular workshop fees) provided they do not displace an active member, and may rent Guild equipment to use in workshops. Student Members pay one-half the Active Membership fee. |
| Honorary Life Member These members have all the privileges of the Active Member category, but do not pay annual dues. Honorary Life Members are appointed by the Executive in recognition of exemplary service to the Guild. |

Full membership is $25.00 per year.
The annual membership dues are payable by September 30 each year.
Applicants
accepted on or after March 1 pay 1/2 the annual dues and their membership
expires September 30 of the same year.
Members who have not renewed by September 30 are not considered Guild members until they pay their dues.
